10 days till 30

August 22, 2013 by luzzara

Today I got into a debate with someone about how “30 year old women don’t know what they want” All I wanted to say was “Fuck Off”, instead I debated the merits of how it doesn’t matter if you are a man or a women, LOTS of people don’t know what they want.

Over the last year I have worked hard to get to know who I am, I’m not done, but I’ve come a long way. Men and women who haven’t taken the opportunity to look at themselves with an open mind and a deep breath might not have because some don’t know what it means to review and analyze themselves, I’d love to say some don’t need to, but seriously we all could take some time to take a hard look in the mirror.

Some people have it all together… some people make it look like they have it all together. In reality everyone has something to learn, a way they can grow, at 10, 20, 30, or 60. Pushing our selves to grow it what will keeps us healthy, creative, inspired and driven. Once we settle into our comfort zone we begin to level out and eventually the spark fizzles out with ourselves and we wonder where the time has gone. So I say I’m almost 30, I do know what I want but that might change and that’s ok.

I agree, the 30s are great by the way, it’s the prime of your life, when you decide what you want and do it well 🙂

We evolve everyday. Lifestyles change. Friends change. Careers change. That’s the beauty about getting older. We really have no idea what is installed for tomorrow!

I don’t know much. But I know I have loved every moment of my 30’s. Honestly. I don’t know what the hell I’m doing, but I’m not apologizing for that anymore. It’s fun. Also – I have great friends :). Which helps with the “what the hell is this about” moments.
